History of The Miracle League of High Point

September 26, 2009 was a great day for the city of High Point and surrounding communities. As a result of the hard work and dedication of many, we proudly celebrated both the dedication of our Miracle League of High Point field and the opening games of the inaugural Miracle League of High Point season. Our inaugural season had four teams and forty-two players.

Although the day was filled with the usual festivities found in most dedications, such as dignitaries and media, the stars of the day were the players on the field. The Miracle League of High Point players were full of excitement and joy as they took the field for the first time. With the exclamation of "Play Ball", children were seen hitting balls, fielding balls and running bases. We had six weeks of games in the Fall 2009 season, ending on October 31 with a season ending party for all. The season was a lot of fun for all involved.

We encourage you to become a part of the Miracle League of High Point. Whether as a player, a volunteer or simply a spectator, we know you will enjoy your experience!!
